1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dap IN platform, operated by DAP IN ENTERPRISE ("Dap IN," "we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Dap IN.
2. Who Can Use Dap IN
To use Dap IN, you need to meet a few basic requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Dap IN
- You must provide accurate information when you register
- You're responsible for keeping your account secure
- One account per person, with no impersonation or fake accounts
3. Profile Photo & Safety
Because Dap IN is built around real-world connection, trust and authenticity matter. To keep the community safe:
- All users must upload a clear, unobstructed photo of their face
- Profiles may remain limited or inaccessible until a valid photo is uploaded
- We may review photos and request additional verification where needed
- We may suspend or remove accounts that fail to meet these identity or safety standards
- For your own safety, keep sensitive details (phone number, banking info) out of your public profile and bio
4. What Dap IN Is
Dap IN is a platform that helps communities and social clubs host curated gatherings, and helps users find their circle within those communities. We provide the infrastructure: booking, payments, circle grouping tools, communication. We are not the organiser of host-run events; hosts are responsible for their own sessions.
5. Bookings & Attendance
When you book a session through Dap IN, the following applies:
- When you book a session, you agree to show up or cancel within the host's stated policy
- Each host sets their own no-show and cancellation policy, shown at booking
- Waitlist spots are confirmed automatically when space opens, subject to payment
- Repeated no-shows may affect your track record and your ability to join future sessions
6. Payments
Payments on Dap IN work as follows:
- All session payments are processed through the Dap IN platform via our payment provider (Billplz). No external bank transfers or QR codes are permitted for listed sessions.
- Prices are set by the host.
- Payment is required to confirm a booking, or pre-authorised where a waitlist applies
7. Refunds, Wallet & Credits
Here's how refunds and your wallet balance are handled:
- Refund eligibility depends on the host's cancellation policy, disclosed at booking
- Where a session is cancelled by the host or by Dap IN, you receive a full refund
- Refunds are issued to your Dap IN wallet by default; you may withdraw to your bank, subject to applicable withdrawal fees
- Referral rewards are issued as coupons, subject to the referral program rules (one per session, valid on eligible sessions, expiry applies)

8. Host Responsibilities
If you operate as a host on Dap IN, you agree to:
- Run sessions as described, and honour your stated policies
- Handle member personal data only for session management, with no external export or marketing without member consent
- Comply with PDPA 2010 obligations for your community
- Not use the platform for any unlawful, misleading, or harmful activity
- Accept that payouts are processed by Dap IN according to the wallet and withdrawal terms
9. Host Payouts
For hosts earning revenue through the platform, payouts work like this:
- Session revenue accrues in the host wallet, shown in RM
- Funds become available for withdrawal after the session completes plus a short holding period
- Hosts request withdrawals; Dap IN processes transfers to the host's registered bank account
- A withdrawal fee and payment gateway fee may apply, disclosed before withdrawal
- Refunds and disputes may be deducted from a host's wallet or future earnings
10. Acceptable Use
To keep Dap IN safe and fair for everyone, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or hosts
- Post false, offensive, or misleading content
- Attempt to bypass the platform's payment system
- Misuse the referral system or create fraudulent accounts
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Content & Conduct
A few things to understand about content you post and your conduct on the platform:
- You own the content you post (photos, profile info), but grant Dap IN a licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of running the service
- You're responsible for your own conduct at sessions, online and in person
- Dap IN is not responsible for the actions of users or hosts at gatherings
12. Feedback
If you share ideas, suggestions, or feedback with us about Dap IN, you agree that we may use them freely to improve the platform, without any obligation, compensation, or credit to you. Any feedback you provide is given voluntarily and is not confidential.
13. Event Liability & Assumption of Risk
This section is important. Most sessions on Dap IN are run by independent hosts, not by us. By using the platform and attending sessions, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Dap IN does not organise, control, or supervise host-run sessions
- The host is solely responsible for their own sessions
- Dap IN is not liable for injuries, accidents, or harm at any session
- Dap IN is not liable for the actions, misconduct, or negligence of hosts or other attendees
- Dap IN is not liable for cancellations, schedule changes, or venue issues
- Participation in any physical activity is entirely at your own risk
- Any refunds, compensation, or disputes relating to a host's session are between you and that host
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dap IN, DAP IN ENTERPRISE, and its operators from any claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your conduct at any session or gathering
- Content you post
- Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law
- For hosts: your sessions, your handling of member data, and any harm, dispute, or claim arising from events you organise
15. Limitation of Liability
Dap IN provides the platform "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from sessions, host conduct, user conduct, payment disputes, technical failures, third-party service issues (such as our payment provider), or events organised through the platform. Your use of Dap IN is at your own risk.
16. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Certain records may be retained as required by law (see our Privacy Policy).
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Dap IN evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
